Brahmos: Supersonic Cruise Missile

MEANING The name  BRAHMOS is a joint name comprised of "Brahmaputra"(Indian river) and "Moskva"(Russian river) developed by both India and Russia. STAGES   Brahmos Missile is a 2 level supersonic cruise missile with a strong  propellant booster engine as its first level which provides it the supersonic speed and separates after that.The liquid ramjet on other level takes the missile closer to speed of 2.8 to 3 Mach in cruise phase.
