India's Paramilitary Forces

#   There are 7 Central Armed Police Forces in India. #   Each of These Forces Performs a separate function. #   They come under the ministry of Home Affairs. #   Each of the forces is lead by an IPS officer (Except Assam Rifles). Here are the seven Paramilitary Forces - 1.  ASSAM RIFLES (AR) It is the oldest Central Paramilitary Force in India. It plays a crucial role to counter North-East insurgency. They also guard the Indo-Myanmar border. 2. BORDER SECURITY FORCE (BSF) They came into existence in 1965. They guard the borders along with the army in certain places. BSF also guard the borders along with the army in Jammu & Kashmir. 3. CENTRAL INDUSTRIAL SECURITY FORCE (CISF) They came into existence in 1969. CISF provide security to public sector undertakings. How to join Indian Air Force (Flying Branch)

As a Graduate/ Engineer or 10+2 student, you enter the flying branch through the Air Force Academy (AFA) or NDA respectively. The following are the four modes of entry to join the Flying branch:  CDSE(COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICES EXAMINATION) (FOR MEN ONLY)                      1.
